With personal training as the title would suggest there is no one size fits all. It's important to take into account the needs and goals of the individual client and tailor their personal training plan /session accordingly.

Grá For Fitness PT sessions are a no shout zone, it's not about scaring a client into one more squat, but encouraging them and challenging them to get the best out of their body. Safety and proper technique are paramount as is enjoyment and of course results. Each session is tailored to suit the particular client and their requirements using choosing from a menu of Pilates, yoga and strength training. Sessions vary from one to the next but remain focussed on the client's goals. Empathy, understanding and encouragement underpin the Grá For Fitness approach...did I mention fun?

I do believe variety is the spice of life when it comes to exercise and personally I like to mix things up as much as possible in my own routine. Pilates and yoga are a very constant part of my life, I also like to include an occasional HIIT session, I enjoy working out using TRX (suspension straps) and weights, (weights being so important for muscle tone and bone health as we get older), these all challenge and are beneficial in different ways.
